This week, I want to finish the list of my 52 most life shaping books. As you recall, Ben wanted this list to guide his reading for the coming year. This was to be his gift to me on my 52nd birthday. Recently, I was visiting in a member’s home and noticed one of the books on the coffee table. That was encouraging! The Lord has used many things and many people to help me. Reading has been crucial. I hope it is significant in your life as well. If not, perhaps this list will be an aide to get started. So, here is the rest of the list:
Apologetics/Culture:
Above All Earthly Powers, David Wells
Fit Bodies Fat Minds, Os Guinness
Defeating Darwinism, Phillip Johnson
The Reason for God, Tim Keller

The Peacemaker, Ken Sande

I hope reading some of these will be a blessed supplement to your reading of scripture. Sunday we will be plowing back in to Genesis after a sizeable break. I believe the Lord has much for us from the latter part of the first book of the Bible. I appreciate your prayers for me as I try to preach faithfully.
See you Sunday!
