Steve Hussung
Senior Pastor
Steve serves as the senior pastor. He has led Rich Pond since 1997 by faithfully preaching the Word of God and shepherding the body of Christ. Steve graduated from Murray State University and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Steve is married to Lisa and they have four sons: Joshua, Joe, Jeremiah and Ben. Steve enjoys reading, golfing, working out and spending time with his family.
Jim Krutza
Pastor of Administration
Jim serves as the pastor of administration. He assists the senior pastor by overseeing the work of the church in worship, nurturing others and evangelizing the lost to make disciples for Christ. Jim graduated from East Texas Baptist College and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Linda and they have two married children; Drew (Amanda) and Katie (Dan) and 5 grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with family, woodworking and gardening.
Drew Krutza
Pastor of Worship & College Ministry
Drew serves as the Pastor of Worship and College Ministry. He provides leadership in worship and college ministry by equipping the church and student parents with the tools needed to make disciples. Drew is married to Amanda and they have three children; Calvin, Silas and Charlotte. He enjoys spending time with his family, coaching soccer and proclaiming the gospel to students!
Andrew Head
Associate Pastor
Andrew serves as an associate pastor. He provides leadership in the areas of discipleship, biblical counseling, and community groups within the church. He desires to see every Christian take their next step in living as Jesus-followers within authentic biblical community. Andrew has a Bachelor’s degree in Student Ministry from Boyce College and is pursuing a Master of Divinity in Biblical Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Lillie Head. He enjoys board games, Kentucky basketball, and doing anything social with family & friends.
Brent Fields
Pastor of Missions & Outreach
Brent serves as the mission and outreach minister. He develops outreach opportunities and strategic partnerships to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the United States, and around the world. Brent is married to Rebecca and they have two children; Andrew and Elizabeth. Brent enjoys traveling, meeting with people and spending time outside.
Susan May
Director Of Children's Ministries
Susan serves as the Director of Children’s Ministries. Her desire is to partner with families in raising the next generation for the glory of God. She is passionate about creating opportunities that support a strong biblical foundation and gospel knowledge. Susan is married to Ken and together they have three girls: Katie, Abbie, and Maggie.
Adam Watkins
Director Of Student Ministries
Adam serves as the director of student ministries. He provides leadership by equipping students and their families to make disciples, and he longs to see the next generation love the Church and live for God’s glory. Adam is married to Lindy, and he is an online student at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He enjoys rock climbing, reading, time with friends and family, and his job!
Support Staff
Jennita Burchfield
Church Secretary
Jennita serves as our Church Secretary and has since 1998. From years of doing bulletins, publications and pageant promo, she now focuses on administrative support for our Senior Pastor, scheduling appointments, crisis emails, working with volunteers and much more. Jennita is married and has two daughters, Katie and Laura. Her favorite things are spending time with family and friends, trips to the beach and mountains, attending concerts, and hearing stories from days gone by.
Tom Botkin
Maintenance
Tom’s duties at RPBC include custodial work, building maintenance, and maintaining the church grounds. Tom is married and has 4 children and 8 grandchildren. He enjoys sports, especially baseball. He participates in church mission trips, helps build sets for church pageants, and works with the church Handyman Team.
